About Me
Tom Hotter was born and raised in Stoughton, Wisconsin and is a huge Wisconsin Badger fan. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After completing his undergraduate degree, he moved to Chicago and began his sales career. Tom later returned “home” to Wisconsin, married his college sweetheart, and embarked upon a successful career in medical sales. He has worked in the Midwest and on the West Coast, spanning a variety of roles from account management to sales leadership. Tom’s professional, customer-focused, consultative approach has served him well, and it continues to be his focus. He always provides clients with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Tom grew up among family and friends in the real estate industry, so it has always been a passion of his. He and his wife have transformed multiple historic homes in the Madison area as well. Following his great success in medical sales, the call to the real estate industry brought him back to his roots. This transition led Tom to the Thompson Kane family, where he is excited to continue his success. Loan origination responsibility throughout Wisconsin, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas allows Tom to best serve and assist his clients in achieving their home ownership dreams.
Tom is actively involved in the Madison community and volunteers his time with multiple organizations. He is a Middle School Coach for his son’s basketball team. He has also contributed to corporate fundraising efforts for Camp Randall Rowing Club, where his daughter is a varsity rower. In his free time, Tom enjoys traveling with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Anna and Joey. He also loves being outdoors, golfing, playing tennis with his family, and, of course, following the Badgers!
